В связи с ростом инфляции покупатели становятся все более избирательными и рациональнее подходят к тратам в том числе на базовые потребности.
Ключевым трендом российской розницы стало развитие низкоценовых форматов торговли и дискаунтеров. Пару лет назад на рынке было только два заметных игрока: «Светофор» и «Доброцен». Теперь эту нишу осваивают крупные представители отрасли — X5 Group и «Магнит».
Потребители постоянно находятся в поисках более выгодных предложений, отслеживают акции, а 7 из 10 покупателей говорят о том, что предпринимают активные действия по сокращению расходов.

Во время любых кризисных явлений человек в первую очередь экономит на товарах не первой необходимости, и в последнюю — на продуктах питания. В частности, 71% экономят на покупке новой одежды, 66% — на развлечениях вне дома, 65% — на доставке еды.
Переключение на более доступные магазины и поиск более дешевых брендов.
С 2017 года число посещаемых торговых точек ежегодно увеличивалось, но оставалось на уровне примерно 4 в месяц, по результатам 2022 года их репертуар вырос почти до 6 магазинов. Хард-дискаунтеры завоевывают все больше аудитории. В среднем такие сети, как Пятерочка, Светофор и FixPrice, покупатели посещают 3-4 раза в месяц.

Ранее покупатели выбирали онлайн из-за удобства совершения покупок, например во время пандемии и локдауна, сейчас — для экономии. 73% респондентов сравнивают цены в онлайн и офлайн магазинах, а 48% считают, что в онлайн-магазинах можно найти товары по более низким ценам.

FMCG-рынок остается более стабильным по сравнению с другими индустриями. Продовольственные товары и алкоголь растут, как в денежном, так и в количественных показателях. Авторынок падает быстрее других категорий ритейла. Также и в категории одежды — динамика продаж падает не только в денежном выражении, но и натуральном.
Однако, не смотря на положительную динамику товаров повседневного спроса, внимание потребителей переключается на магазины с более низкими ценами (61%) и товары по сниженным ценам/промо (41%).

В категории средств для мытья посуды и шампуней наиболее привлекательными сегментами для покупателя становятся большие упаковки. Такие сегменты имеют более низкий ценовой индекс и позволяют потребителю экономить в пересчете за литр или килограмм продукции, поэтому именно цена обуславливает рост конкретных сегментов внутри категории. Потребители не готовы отказаться от покупки базовых категорий в корзине и в условиях текущего кризиса уровень продаж базовых товаров сохраняется. Однако внутри этих категорий происходит смена покупательских привычек в целях экономии.
На фоне перечисленных потребительских трендов основной точкой, объединяющей все эти тренды, становится критическая важность параметра цены. В настоящее время 89% потребителей считают цену главным критерием для выбора продукта, а нарастающая инфляция и снижающиеся располагаемые доходы усиливают тренд на экономию среди потребителей. Как следствие, покупатели становятся более рациональны — а значит, они более внимательны к своим тратам и стараются оптимизировать свой бюджет.
